History of Prime
When he founded Prime Foods, Inc. in 1994, Howard Ehrlich renewed the tradition set 70 years ago by his grandfather, who oversaw one of the metropolitan region’s premier poultry distributors. Prime Foods has rapidly built on that tradition, earning a reputation for quality, value, service and satisfaction that are second to none. We welcome visitors to our gleaming 18,000 s.f. facilities in Hyattsville, MD, located minutes from downtown Washington D.C.
We are USDA, SQF, and Halal certified allowing us to provide the finest proteins to customers all over the world.
